There was an upset when higher ranked Senigallia (9-7) was defeated on the road by twelfth ranked Martina Franca (5-11) 70-61 on Wednesday. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Gaetano Spera (209-93, college: St.Peter's, agency: Players Group) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 12 points and 17 rebounds and guard Stefano Cunico (190-93) who added 11 points and 7 rebounds during the contest.
