Regular Season Round 13: Alpo VR - Vicenza 55-67

Another interesting game for Vicenza (8-5) which played in Verona against 6th ranked Alpo VR (7-6). Seventh ranked Vicenza had an easy win 67-55. Vicenza dominated on the defensive end, holding Alpo VR to just 6 points in third quarter. They also forced 20 Alpo VR turnovers. The former international guard Anna Zimerle (172-76) stepped up and scored 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and the former international forward Emanuela Ramon (187-82) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds. Four Vicenza players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Alice Richter (184-91) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and Bosnian Marina Dzinic (190-92) scored 18 points and 7 rebounds. Alpo VR's coach Nicola Soave rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Vicenza moved-up to fourth place in A2. Alpo VR at the other side keeps the sixth position with six games lost. Vicenza will play against Bolzano (#12) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Alpo VR will play against Pordenone (#9) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
