Regular Season Round 16: Bergamo - Desio 85-75

Very expected game when 7th ranked Desio (8-8) was defeated on the road by third ranked Bergamo (13-3) 85-75 on Wednesday. Bergamo forced 19 Desio turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Rei Pullazi (203-93) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 9 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and guard Alessandro Panni (189-91) who added 15 points and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side guard Daniele Quartieri (195-87, agency: SPORTlab Agency) responded with 21 points and forward Edoardo Gallazzi (199-86) scored 15 points. Desio's coach Davide Villa rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Bergamo have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain third position in B with 13-3 record having just two points less than leader Forli. Loser Desio dropped to the eighth place with eight games lost. Bergamo will face Sangiorgese (#14) in San Giorgio in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Desio will play at home against Battaglia (#15) and hope to win that game.
