Regular Season Round 28: TianJin S. - Sichuan BW 104-113

CBA top team - Sichuan BW (23-5) managed to deliver another win on Friday. This time they beat nineteenth ranked TianJin Steel (5-23) in Tianjin 113-104. TianJin Steel trailed by 11 points after 3 quarters before a 23-21 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 104-113 at the end of the game. Sichuan BW made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Justin Dentmon (183-85, college: Washington) who helped to win the game recording 41 points (!!!) (made all of his nine free throws !!!). Iranian center Hamed Haddadi (218-85) contributed with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 13 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals for the winners. Five Sichuan BW players scored in double figures. American guard Jordan Crawford (193-88, college: Xavier) replied with a double-double by scoring 72 points (!!!) and 16 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Jason Maxiell (201-83, college: Cincinnati) added 11 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for TianJin Steel. Sichuan BW have an impressive ten-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 23-5 record, which they share with Xinjiang FT. TianJin Steel at the other side keeps the nineteenth place with 23 games lost. Sichuan BW is looking forward to face bottom-ranked Foshan (#20) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. TianJin Steel will play against Qingdao Eagles and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
