The game in Tallinn was also quite interesting. One of their biggest challengers BC Rakvere (5-6) played at the court of fifth ranked TLU/Kalev (6-5). TLU/Kalev defeated BC Rakvere 86-71 on Friday. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of BC Rakvere. The hosts trailed by 11 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 15 points. TLU/Kalev dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to BC Rakvere's 30. TLU/Kalev forced 25 BC Rakvere turnovers. The best player for the winners was Canadian guard Johnny Berhanemeskel (188-92, agency: Two Points) who scored 31 points and 8 rebounds. Lithuanian center Dominykas Milka (203-92, college: St.Rose, NY) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Latvian Roberts Stumbris (199-93) who recorded 20 points and 8 rebounds and Latvian guard Reinis Strupovics (190-87) added 17 points and 5 assists respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. BC Rakvere's coach rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. TLU/Kalev moved-up to fourth place. Loser BC Rakvere dropped to the fifth position with six games lost. TLU/Kalev will meet Valga (#6) on the road in the next round. BC Rakvere will play against Audentese/N. and hope to secure a win.
