Very important is a road loss of second ranked Melilla Baloncesto (12-5) against eleventh ranked Leyma Basquet (8-9) on Friday night. Visiting Melilla Baloncesto was defeated by Leyma Basquet in a tough game in Coruna 71-77. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Melilla Baloncesto. The hosts were ahead by 5 points but lost the second period ending it with a 4-point deficit before their 24-14 run, which allowed them to win the game. Leyma Basquet dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Melilla Baloncesto's 24. Leyma Basquet players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists.
