Everything went according to plan in Melilla where first ranked Coin (7-2) outleveled 8th ranked CAM E.Soler (2-7) 83-64 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 7 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 83-64. Coin forced 20 CAM E.Soler turnovers. Guard Fran Robles (191-81) fired 23 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Center Juan Vasco (200-83) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. Coin's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Power forward Jose Martinez (201-88) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Alvaro Garcia (185-96) added 13 points and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Four CAM E.Soler players scored in double figures. Coin maintains first place in Group D-East with 7-2 record, which they share with Medacbasket. CAM E.Soler lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the sixth position with seven games lost. Coin will face league's second-placed Medacbasket in Malaag in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. CAM E.Soler will play on the road against Andujar (#3) and hope to win that game.
