There was no surprise in Sabadell where 9th ranked Sant Nicolau (4-9) was defeated by second ranked Quart (11-3) 83-77 on Saturday. Sant Nicolau was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Quart forced 22 Sant Nicolau turnovers. Sant Nicolau was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Forward Albert Masllorens (199-90) fired 22 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Jordi Bataller (183-86) chipped in 12 points and 5 assists. Quart's coach Marc Delemus used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Keith Wilson (191-83, college: CS Monterey) produced 20 points and 8 rebounds and the other American import center Jachin Wettstone (206, college: Toccoa Falls) added 11 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side.
