Regular Season Round 14: WKK Wroclaw - AZS PP 88-63

Not a big story in a game when 8th ranked AZS PP (5-8) was outplayed on the road by sixth ranked WKK Wroclaw (7-7) 88-63 on Saturday. WKK Wroclaw forced 24 AZS PP turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 53.3 percentage. WKK Wroclaw looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was Kamil Fiedukiewicz (188-98) who scored 22 points. Forward Szymon Kiwilsza (202-97) chipped in 10 points and 6 rebounds. Wojciech Pawelczyk (196-93) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds and center Szymon Budnikowski (200-84) added 11 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. WKK Wroclaw maintains sixth position in Group D with 7-7 record. Loser AZS PP keeps the eighth place with eight games lost. WKK Wroclaw will face Sudety (#7) in Jelenia Gora in the next round. AZS PP will play at home against Otmuchow and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
