Regular Season Round 11: LTB 29 - Reims 80-66

Everything could happen in Pleyber-Christ at the game between two tied teams. Both fifth ranked LTB 29 and 6th ranked Reims had identical 5-4 record. This time LTB 29 used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Reims 80-66. The game was mostly controlled by LTB 29. Reims was better in second period 24-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 16-of-17 charity shots (94.1 percent) during the game. LTB 29 players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Guard Marie Butard (174-86) orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points and 6 assists. Senegalese power forward Oumou Toure (190-88, agency: Comsport) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four LTB 29 players scored in double figures. Swingman Clementine Samson (181-91) answered with 25 points and 5 rebounds and forward Maud Lesoudard (185-88) added 14 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Reims. LTB 29 maintains fifth place with 6-4 record. Reims at the other side keeps the sixth position with five games lost. LTB 29 will play against bottom-ranked CFBB (#12) in Paris in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Reims will play at home against Dunkerque (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
