Regular Season Round 14: AZS AGH Alstom - AZS PS Gliwice 76-52

Date: January 9, 2016
Rather predictable result in Krakow where second ranked AZS AGH Alstom (12-2) outscored 4th ranked AZS PS Gliwice (9-5) 76-52 on Saturday. They outrebounded AZS PS Gliwice 44-23 including a 28-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was power forward Maciej Maj (200-88) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 17 rebounds. Guard Jakub Krawczyk (191-91) chipped in 13 points. Guard Maciej Wasowicz (182-92) produced 14 points and swingman Daniel Pelka (193-80) added 11 points respectively for the guests. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. AZS AGH Alstom keeps a position of Group C leader, which they share with Polonia Bytom. Newly promoted AZS PS Gliwice keeps the fourth place with five games lost. AZS AGH Alstom's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Krakow to the arena Wisla Krakow.
