Second ranked ViVe (10-3) crushed at home 7th ranked Aanekosken (4-9) by 38 points 106-68, which is the biggest margin this round. The game without a history. ViVe led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They also forced 21 Aanekosken turnovers and outrebounded them 55-36 including a 37-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. Americans were the main players on the court. Swingman Lele Hardy (182-88, college: Clemson) notched a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 15 rebounds to lead the effort and forward Alexyz Vaioletama (185-93, college: USC) supported her with 14 points and 18 rebounds. Even a double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds by guard Donia Naylor (185, college: Bowie St.) did not help to save the game for Aanekosken. Center Kenya Robinson (182-70, college: New Orleans) added 12 points and 10 rebounds for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Aanekosken's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. ViVe maintains second position with 10-3 record having twelve points less than leader Catz. Aanekosken lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with nine games lost. ViVe will play against Tapiolan Honka (#4) on the road in the next round. Aanekosken will play against Pyrinto and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
