Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both fifth ranked Palermo and 6th ranked Empoli had identical 7-6 record. This time Palermo used a home court advantage and won against the opponent from Empoli 67-59 on Saturday night. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 9-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 67-59. Forward Giulia Manzotti (176-93) scored 15 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and power forward Elena Riccardi (187-82) chipped in 14 points and 7 rebounds during the contest.
