Regular Season Round 13: Adareva - Al-Qazeres 67-71

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in SC Laguna. Second ranked Al-Qazeres faced 3rd placed Adareva. Guests from Caceres (12-1) defeated host Adareva (9-4) 71-67. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Julie Forster (185-91, college: Albany) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points, 21 rebounds and 6 assists. Her fellow American import guard Tamara Taylor (178-93, college: S.Florida) contributed with 25 points for the winners. American-Nigerian swingman Anma Onyeuku (181-91, college: Hofstra) answered with 17 points and 6 rebounds and power forward Laura Bejarano (180-82) added 13 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Adareva. Al-Qazeres keeps a position of Group A leader, which they share with GDKO Bizkaia. Newly promoted Adareva keeps the third place with four games lost. They share the position with Aros Leon and Araski AES. Al-Qazeres will play against C.Adelantados (#6) in San Cristobal in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Adareva will play at home against Oviedo and hopes to get back on the winning track.
