Regular Season Round 13: Amsterdam - Den Bosch 73-71

The most exciting game of round 13 in the Eredivisie took place in Amsterdam. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 3rd placed Den Bosch (8-5) to seventh ranked Amsterdam (4-8) 73-71 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Den Bosch. The hosts trailed by 7 points after three quarters before their 26-17 charge, which allowed them to win the game. They outrebounded Den Bosch 41-29 including 26 on the defensive glass. The former international point guard Aaron Roye (185-88) fired 8 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. Forward Stefan Mulder (189-91) chipped in 19 points. Four Amsterdam players scored in double figures. International guard Arvin Slagter (191-85, agency: Court Side) produced 22 points and 4 assists and the former international forward Stefan Wessels (203-84) added 15 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Amsterdam moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Rotterdam. Defending champion Den Bosch keeps the third position with five games lost. They share it with Groningen. Amsterdam is looking forward to face Rotterdam (#6) on the road in the next round. Den Bosch will have a break next round.
