Top ranked Polonia Bytom (12-2) recorded its second loss in Jaworzno on Saturday night. Visitors were edged by third ranked MCKiS Jaworz. (10-4) 61-59. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Polonia Bytom. The best player for the winners was guard Dawid Grochowski (190-89) who scored 19 points and 6 rebounds. Power forward Daniel Goldammer (200-89) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds. Emil Podkowinski (194-88) produced 16 points and point guard Pawel Wolk-Jankowski (185-81) added 7 points and 4 assists respectively for the guests. MCKiS Jaworz. have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain third position in Group C with 10-4 record having just three points less than leader Kotwica. Polonia Bytom at the other side still keeps top place with two games lost. They share the position with AZS AGH Alstom. MCKiS Jaworz. are looking forward to face Pogon RS (#8) in Ruda Slaska in the next round where they are favorite. Polonia Bytom will play at home against AZS PCz (#5) and is hoping to win this game.
