Very predictable result when seventh ranked Albino (8-6) defeated at home 13th ranked Scrivia (3-11) 72-62 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 37-26 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. The former international center Elisa Silva (192-88, agency: LBM Management) scored 22 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and center Giulia Vincenzi (190-98) chipped in 19 points and 9 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) during the contest. Albino's coach Michele Pasqua used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Francesca Bergante (172-82) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and power forward Annalisa Vitari (185-96) scored 13 points. Albino moved-up to sixth place in A2. Newly promoted Scrivia keeps the thirteenth position with 11 games lost. Albino will face Marghera (#8) in Venezia in the next round. Scrivia will play at home against San Salvatore (#7) and hope to win that game.
