Regular Season Round 15: Torun - Rosa Radom 62-76

The game between Top Four teams took place in Torun. 4th placed host Twarde Pierniki (11-5) lost to third ranked Rosa (12-3) 76-62. Twarde Pierniki was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Rosa forced 23 Twarde Pierniki turnovers. It was a great evening for American point guard Torey Thomas (178-85, college: Holy Cross) who led his team to a victory scoring 14 points and 6 assists. His fellow American import C.J. Harris (191-91, college: Wake Forest) helped adding 19 points. Four Rosa players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American point guard Danny Gibson (177-84, college: S.Indiana) with 13 points and 7 assists and Ukrainian power forward Maxym Korniyenko (205-87, agency: Beo Basket) scored 13 points and 6 rebounds. Rosa have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. They moved-up to second place. Twarde Pierniki at the other side keeps the fourth position with five games lost. Rosa are looking forward to face Anwil (#3) in Wloclawek in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Twarde Pierniki will play on the road against PGE Turow in Zgorzelec and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
