Everything went according to plan in Lugo where sixth ranked Chantada (5-3) won against 11th ranked Estudiantes L. (1-7) 74-70 on Sunday. Estudiantes L. trailed by 15 points after 3 quarters before a 28-17 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 70-74 at the end of the game.
