Regular Season Round 29: Jiangsu TX - Guangsha L. 100-120

Everything went according to plan when third ranked Zhejiang Guangsha Lions (23-6) outscored on the road 13th ranked Jiangsu TX (11-18) 120-100 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Zhejiang Guangsha Lions. Jiangsu TX managed to win third quarter 37-35. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was American point guard Jeremy Pargo (188-86, college: Gonzaga, agency: Priority Sports) who scored 42 points (!!!), 8 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. His fellow American import power forward Elijah Holman (208-89, college: Detroit Mercy, agency: Pensack Sports) chipped in a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds. Palestinian center Sani Sakakini (204-88) produced a double-double by scoring 26 points and 20 rebounds and Jamaican center Jerome Jordan (215-86, college: Tulsa, agency: Priority Sports) added 28 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Five Zhejiang Guangsha Lions and four Jiangsu TX players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions maintains third place with 23-6 record behind leader Sichuan BW. Loser Jiangsu TX dropped to the fourteenth position with 18 games lost. They share it with Fujian QB. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions will meet Shandong Bulls (#5) in the next round. Jiangsu TX will play against Jiangsu Dragons (#12) in Nanjing and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
