Regular Season Round 13: Sant Lluis - Masnou 59-76

No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Masnou (6-6) defeated on the road bottom-ranked Sant Lluis (0-11) 76-59 on Sunday. The game without a history. Masnou led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They also forced 20 Sant Lluis turnovers. Forward Jaume Solans (197-91) fired 13 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Joel Rodriguez chipped in 15 points. Four Masnou players scored in double figures. Masnou's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Miguel Ortiz (192-81) produced 12 points and 6 rebounds and forward Sergio Munoz (197-82) added 11 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Masnou moved-up to fifth place in Group C-A, which they share with Salt. Sant Lluis lost their tenth game in a row. Sant Lluis at the other side, also newcomer in the league, still closes the standings with 11 games lost. Masnou's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Barcelona Barbera.
