Very predictable result when first ranked Roma E-basket (16-1) beat on the road 12th ranked Roma Luiss (6-11) 80-65 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was the former international swingman Alex Righetti (198-77, agency: Interperformances) who scored 20 points and 6 assists. Naturalized Argentinian center Marcelo Dip (205-84, agency: Players Group) chipped in 14 points and 7 rebounds. Center Eugenio Beretta (206-96) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds and swingman Stefano Rambaldi (194-91) added 15 points respectively for the hosts. Roma Luiss' coach Andrea Paccarie rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for Roma E-basket. They maintain first place with 16-1 record, which they share with Forli and Udine APU. Loser Roma Luiss keep the twelfth position with 11 games lost. Roma E-basket will face Isernia (#13) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Roma Luiss will play against Catanzaro and hope to win that game.
