The game in Espoo was quite interesting. Fifth ranked Tapiolan Honka (8-7) played at the court of 6th ranked Espoo Team (5-8). Tapiolan Honka defeated Espoo Team 64-49 on Sunday. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Tapiolan Honka dominated on the defensive end, holding Espoo Team to just 4 points in fourth quarter. Tapiolan Honka forced 19 Espoo Team turnovers and outrebounded Espoo Team 47-32 including 33 on the defensive glass. International forward Dionne Pounds (174-84, college: Lamar, agency: Regeneracom Sports) scored 23 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and international swingman Heta Korpivaara (185-84, college: Seton Hall, agency: Regeneracom Sports) chipped in 11 points and 14 rebounds during the contest. Tapiolan Honka is looking forward to face league's second-placed ViVe in Vimpeli in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Espoo Team will play at home against HyPo (#3) and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
