Tenth-ranked Atenas (8-20) gave a tough game to fourth ranked Quimsa (15-12) in Santiado Estero. Quimsa managed to secure only three-point victory 69-66. However their fans expected much easier game. Atenas was ahead by 3 points at the halftime before a 17-10 third quarter run of Quimsa. 25 personal fouls committed by Atenas helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities.
