An interesting game took place in Kfar Saba where 6th ranked Hapoel Kfar Saba (6-7) was upset on its own court by ninth ranked Hasharon (5-8) 92-76 on Tuesday. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Hapoel Kfar Saba. Hasharon looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American guard Isaiah Sykes (198-91, college: Cent.Florida, agency: CGL Sports) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 17 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners and his fellow American import forward Rodney Alexander (201-87, college: Oklahoma City) chipped in 22 points and 17 rebounds. Four Hasharon players scored in double figures. At the losing side Alluf Bar responded with 18 points and 7 assists and American guard Vernon Teel (193-87, college: Loyola Mary) scored 5 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. Hasharon moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser Hapoel Kfar Saba keeps the sixth position with seven games lost. Hasharon will face league's second-placed Galil Gilboa in Rosh Pina in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
