Regular Season Round 17: Dijon - Nancy 83-56

Date: January 12, 2016
The game with biggest result difference took place in JDA Dijon. Local JDA Dijon (10-7) outscored 16th ranked Sluc Nancy (5-12) 83-56 on Tuesday night. The game was mostly controlled by JDA Dijon. Sluc Nancy was better in third quarter 20-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. JDA Dijon looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was American power forward Tyler Cain (203-88, college: S.Dakota) who scored 23 points and 7 rebounds. His fellow American import guard C.J. Williams (196-90, college: N.Carolina St.) chipped in 20 points and 5 rebounds. Four JDA Dijon players scored in double figures. JDA Dijon's coach Laurent Legname felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Andy Panko (203-77, college: Lebanon Valley, agency: Beo Basket) produced 16 points and 5 rebounds and the former international Florent Pietrus (202-81) added 5 points and 12 rebounds respectively for the guests. Despite that victory JDA Dijon went down to seventh position due to points difference, which they share with Chalon. Sluc Nancy lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the fifteenth place with 12 games lost. JDA Dijon will face Cholet Basket (#14) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Sluc Nancy will play against SPO Rouen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
