Regular Season Round 13: Audentese/N. - Parnu 63-77

Bottom-ranked Audentese/N. (0-13) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 77-63 loss to eighth ranked Parnu (5-7) in Tallinn on Tuesday evening. The game was mostly controlled by Parnu. Audentese/N. managed to win fourth quarter 23-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Parnu forced 19 Audentese/N. turnovers. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Parnu made 7 blocks. 24 personal fouls committed by Audentese/N. helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Lithuanian forward Paulius Petrilevicius (200-91) fired 12 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. International power forward Joonas Jarvelainen (202-90) chipped in 19 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Point guard Ron-Arnar Pehka (185-98) produced 19 points and Taavi Jurkatamm (200-97) added 13 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Parnu moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Tarvas. Audentese/N. at the other side still closes the standings with 13 games lost. Parnu is looking forward to face BC Rakvere (#6) on the road in the next round. Audentese/N. will have a break next round.
