Regular Season Round 14: Ksiezak Lowicz - Polonia W-wa 88-62

Everything went according to plan when first ranked Ksiezak Lowicz (13-1) outleveled at home 12th ranked Polonia W-wa (2-12) 88-62 on Wednesday. Ksiezak Lowicz forced 21 Polonia W-wa turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was point guard Bartosz Wluczynski (176-88) who scored 11 points and 7 assists. Point guard Hubert Makuch (180-85) chipped in 11 points and 7 assists. Five Ksiezak Lowicz players scored in double figures. Daniel Olszewski (200-94) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds and Michal Grabowski (195-96) added 9 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ksiezak Lowicz have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position in Group B with 13-1 record. Polonia W-wa lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the twelfth place with 12 games lost. Ksiezak Lowicz will face Stal SW (#8) in Stalowa Wola in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Polonia W-wa will play on the road against Ostrow Mazow. (#5) in Ostrow Mazowiecki and hope to win that game.
