Regular Season Round 14: Shmoolky W-wa - Rosa III Radom 84-70

Not a big story in a game in Warszawa where 10th ranked Rosa III Radom (4-10) was defeated by sixth ranked Shmoolky W-wa (7-7) 84-70 on Wednesday. Shmoolky W-wa dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Rosa III Radom's 34. Shmoolky W-wa forced 27 Rosa III Radom turnovers. Rosa III Radom was plagued by 31 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was swingman Mikolaj Motel (192-94) who scored 19 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Tomasz Rudko (186-89) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds. Four Shmoolky W-wa players scored in double figures. Patryk Jasinski (185-96) produced 23 points and center Lukasz Sobuta (209-92) added 11 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Newly promoted Shmoolky W-wa maintains sixth position in Group B with 7-7 record. Rosa III Radom at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the tenth place with ten games lost. Shmoolky W-wa will face higher ranked LKS Lodz (#4) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Rosa III Radom will play against Gimbasket PRZM (#3) and hope to win that game.
