Regular Season Round 30: Sichuan BW - Liaoning H. 94-111

Top ranked Sichuan BW (24-6) recorded its sixth loss at the home court on Wednesday night. Hosts were defeated by fourth ranked Liaoning Hunters (23-7) 111-94. It ended at the same time the 11-game winning streak of Sichuan BW. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Liaoning Hunters made 17-of-18 free shots (94.4 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 Sichuan BW turnovers. The best player for the winners was American Lester Hudson (190-84, college: Tenn-Martin, agency: Priority Sports) who had a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!), 10 rebounds and 5 assists. The other American import forward Shavlik Randolph (208-83, college: Duke) chipped in 26 points. At the other side the best for losing team was Iranian center Hamed Haddadi (218-85) who recorded a double-double by scoring 22 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and American Mike Harris (198-83, college: Rice) added 21 points and 11 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Liaoning Hunters have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Guangsha L. Sichuan BW at the other side dropped to the second position with six games lost. Liaoning Hunters is looking forward to face Jiangsu TX (#15) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Sichuan BW will play against Qingdao Eagles (#13) and is hoping to win this game.
