The most surprising game was another loss of top-ranked Hispano Am. (11-8) in Juninense on Wednesday night. Visitors were defeated by fifth ranked Ciclista (10-9) 85-81. They made 23-of-28 free shots (82.1 percent) during the game. It was a good game for guard Elnes Bolling (189-91) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 11 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. Point guard Alvaro Merlo (182-95) contributed with 15 points and 7 assists for the winners. American forward Terry Martin Jr. (199-89, college: Wofford) replied with 23 points and 9 rebounds and guard Sebastian Mignani (181-90) added 17 points and 4 assists in the effort for Hispano Am.Five Ciclista and four Hispano Am. players scored in double figures. Ciclista moved-up to third place, which they share with Estudiantes O. and Parque Sur. Hispano Am. at the other side still keeps top position with eight games lost. Ciclista is looking forward to face Olimpo (#4) in Bahia Blanca in the next round. Hispano Am. will have a break next round.
