Regular Season Round 21: Centrum - Asker Aliens 98-68

Second ranked Centrum (9-4) crushed at home 8th ranked Asker Aliens (5-7) by 30 points 98-68, which is the biggest margin this round on Wednesday night. The game without a history. Centrum led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Asker Aliens' players. The best player for the winners was point guard Harald Frey (182-97) who scored 20 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Forward Anders Stien (195-90) chipped in 23 points. Five Centrum players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was DR Congolese power forward Djo Yele (203-82) who recorded a double-double by scoring 27 points and 12 rebounds and the former international guard Espen Stien (186-86) added 22 points respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for Centrum. Despite that victory Centrum went down to third position due to points difference. Asker Aliens lost their fourth game in a row. Defending champion keep the eighth place with seven games lost. Centrum will meet league's second-placed Tromso on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Asker Aliens will play against the league's leader Ammerud Bskt (#1) in Oslo and hope to secure a win.
