The game in Kosice supposed to be also quite interesting. Third ranked Piestanske C. (15-3) played at the court of 8th ranked Cassovia K. (1-16). Piestanske C. smashed Cassovia K. 61-38 on Wednesday. The game was mostly controlled by Piestanske C.. Cassovia K. managed to win fourth quarter 14-8. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Cassovia K. to just 4 points in first quarter and to 13 points in first half. Piestanske C. dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Cassovia K.'s 16. Piestanske C. forced 19 Cassovia K. turnovers. It was a great evening for American center Nadia Parker (191-87, college: USC) who led her team to a victory scoring 14 points and 6 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Nikola Dudasova (175-95) helped adding 13 points. Parker is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the losing side center Eva Filickova (192-95) responded with 12 points and 5 rebounds and power forward Beata Jassova (185-93) scored 4 points and 11 rebounds. Piestanske C. moved-up to second place. Cassovia K. lost their sixteenth game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with 16 games lost. Piestanske C. will meet league's leader Good Angels in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Cassovia K. will play against Samorin (#4) and hope to win that game.
