No shocking result in a game in Dudelange where second ranked T71 (13-3) defeated 8th ranked Heffingen (4-12) 90-77. The game was mostly controlled by T71. Heffingen was better in fourth quarter 27-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. T71 forced 20 Heffingen turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Eric Anderson (204-93, college: New Haven) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. International point guard Tom Schumacher (190-87, college: Cal.Baptist) contributed with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Five T71 players scored in double figures. American Jalen Nesbitt (198, college: N.Florida, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) replied with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Brad Reese (199-88, college: Texas Tech) added 25 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Heffingen. Heffingen's coach Mark Reed rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. T71 have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains second position with 13-3 record having just three points less than leader Amicale. Heffingen at the other side keeps the eighth place with 12 games lost. They share the position with Soleuvre. T71 will play against Residence (#7) in Bereldange in the next round where they are favorite. Heffingen will play at home against Musel Pikes and hopes to get back on the winning track.
