Very expected game in Stadrbredimus where 10th ranked Contern (3-13) was rolled over by third ranked Musel Pikes (12-4) 89-70. The game without a history. Musel Pikes led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Musel Pikes had a 39-23 advantage in offensive rebounds. The game was dominated by American players. It was a very good performance for power forward Clancy Rugg (203-91, college: Vermont, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points and 19 rebounds. Swingman Jarmar Gulley (196-91, college: Missouri St., agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) contributed with 15 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Five Musel Pikes players scored in double figures. Forward Kenny Williams (201-86, college: Angelo St.) replied with a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 17 rebounds and guard Ravern Johnson (200-88, college: Mississippi St., agency: HMS) added 9 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Contern. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Musel Pikes have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 12-4 record having four points less than leader Amicale. Contern at the other side stay at the bottom place with 13 games lost. Musel Pikes will play against Heffingen (#9) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Contern will play against Soleuvre and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
