Regular Season Round 13: BGEU-RCOR - Vitebsk 78-58

We should not miss a home victory of seventh ranked BGEU-RCOR (3-9) who crushed 4th placed Vitebsk (5-7) by 20 points 78-58. The game was mostly controlled by BGEU-RCOR. Vitebsk was better in second period 17-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. BGEU-RCOR forced 19 Vitebsk turnovers. Forward Yaraslau Kurapau (200-91) fired a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. The former international guard Siarhei Vabishchevich (192-88) chipped in 17 points, 5 assists and 5 steals. Four BGEU-RCOR players scored in double figures. BGEU-RCOR's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Forward Marsel Ovsepian (202-90) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and forward Victor Ovsepyan (204-91) added 9 points and 11 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) respectively for lost side. BGEU-RCOR moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Prinemanye. Vitebsk at the other side dropped to the fifth position with seven games lost. BGEU-RCOR's next round opponent will be higher ranked Impuls BGUIR (#4) in Minsk and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Vitebsk will play at home against GOCOR-Sozh and hope to win that game.
