There was a minor upset when 14th ranked Paris-Levallois (5-12) was defeated at home by sixteenth ranked Sluc Nancy (5-12) 91-75 on Friday. The game without a history. Sluc Nancy led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was American power forward Randal Falker (201-85, college: S.Illinois) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds. The former international guard Steed Tchicamboud (193-81, agency: Comsport) chipped in a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 assists. Four Sluc Nancy players scored in double figures. American power forward Eric Dawson (206-84, college: Midwestern St., agency: Haylett Sports) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and the other American import guard Jahmar Young (196-87, college: N.Mexico St., agency: Higher Vision Sports) added 23 points (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) respectively for the hosts. Paris-Levallois' coach Antoine Rigaudeau tested ten players seeing no chance for a win. Sluc Nancy moved-up to fifteenth place, which they share with defeated Paris-Levallois. Sluc Nancy will face SPO Rouen (#17) on the road in the next round.
