Regular Season Round 13: St Chamond - St Quentin 66-73

There was a minor upset when 14th ranked Saint Chamond (5-8) was defeated at home by sixteenth ranked Saint-Quentin (5-8) 73-66 on Friday. The guests trailed by 6 points after three quarters before their 27-14 charge, which allowed them to win the game. American swingman Ryan Evans (203-90, college: Wisconsin) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds for the winners and his fellow American import swingman Daviin Davis (193-85, college: Weber St.) chipped in 9 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. At the losing side American guard Dustin Salisbery (193-84, college: Temple) responded with 13 points and guard Matthieu Guichard (188-88) scored 8 points and 5 assists. Saint Chamond's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Saint-Quentin moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Saint Chamond. Saint Chamond lost their fifth game in a row. Saint-Quentin will face higher ranked Souffelweyersheim (#9) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
