Regular Season Round 13: Lille - Orchies 69-67

A very interesting game took place in Lille. It ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 18th ranked Orchesien BC (3-9) to fifteenth ranked Lille Metropole (5-7) 69-67 on Friday evening. Orchesien BC was ahead by 3 points after three quarters before a 23-18 charge of Lille Metropole, which allowed them to win the game. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. 25 personal fouls committed by Orchesien BC helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard T.J. Price (193-93, college: W.Kentucky) who helped to win the game recording 24 points. Point guard Emilien Barbry (188-83) contributed with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Swingman Rodrigue Mels (190-85, college: CS Northridge, agency: Three Eye Sports) answered with 12 points and American forward Ronnie Burrell (203-83, college: NC-Greensboro) added 10 points in the effort for Orchesien BC. Orchesien BC's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Lille Metropole moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Vichy Clermont. Orchesien BC lost their fourth game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with nine games lost. Lille Metropole's next round opponent will be Denain Voltaire (#14) on the road. Orchesien BC will play against the league's leader Hyeres-Toulon (#1) having rather not much hope for a victory.
