Regular Season Round 4: Moutahed - Louaize 73-68

Bottom-ranked Louaize (0-4) is still winless. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they lost on the road their fourth consecutive match to fourth ranked Al Moutahed (3-1) 73-68 on Friday evening. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 73-68. The former international forward Reyshawn Terry (203-84, college: N.Carolina) fired a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. American guard Michael Taylor (186-86, college: Iowa St.) chipped in 16 points and 8 assists. Four Al Moutahed players scored in double figures. American center Wendell Lewis (208-89, college: Alabama St.) produced 24 points and 8 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Alex Okafor (202-87, college: Princeton) added 18 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. Al Moutahed have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Homenetmen. Newly promoted Louaize still closes the standings with four games lost. Al Moutahed will meet league's second-placed Homenetmen in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Louaize will play against Sagesse (#5) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
