Regular Season Round 13: Provence Basket - Denain 84-63

Rather predictable result in Fos-sur-Mer where eighth ranked Provence Basket (7-6) smashed 12th ranked Denain Voltaire (5-8) 84-63 on Friday. The hosts trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 84-63. Provence Basket made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. Provence Basket had a 24-12 advantage in offensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 60.0 percentage. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Denain Voltaire dropped to the thirteenth position with eight games lost. Provence Basket will face Charleville-Mezieres (#15) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Denain Voltaire will play against Lille Metropole and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
