Very predictable result when fourth ranked ASEFA Estudiantes (10-4) rolled over 10th ranked Segle XXI (4-10) in Barcelona 62-41 on Saturday. The game without a history. ASEFA Estudiantes led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Patricia Arguello (178-87) orchestrated the victory by scoring 10 points and 4 assists. Point guard Natalia Lopez (171-93) contributed with 13 points for the winners. Maria Barneda replied with 11 points and 5 rebounds and forward Paula Ginzo (187-98) added 9 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Segle XXI. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. ASEFA Estudiantes have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place in Group B, which they share with Sant Adria. Loser Segle XXI dropped to the eleventh position with ten games lost. ASEFA Estudiantes' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Madrid Plenilunio.
