Power forward Chiara Cadoni (182-94) came up with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds and guard Chiara Mini (165-86) added 11 points and 4 steals respectively for Bologna in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted La Spezia maintains first place in A2 with 15-0 record. Bologna at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the fifth position with six games lost. La Spezia's next round opponent will be Civitanova (#10) in Civitanova Marche and are hoping to win another game. Bologna will play at home against Viterbo (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
