Regular Season Round 15: Rosa III Radom - Gimbasket PRZM 74-77

There was no surprise when 10th ranked Rosa III Radom (4-11) was edged at home by third ranked Gimbasket PRZM (11-4) 77-74 on Saturday. It was a good game for Artur Mikolajko (197-79) who led his team to a victory with 16 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Grzegorz Plocica (190-80) contributed with 26 points for the winners. Four Gimbasket PRZM players scored in double figures. Center Michal Sadlo (205-94) answered with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds and forward Konrad Kapturski (197-83) added 18 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Rosa III Radom. Rosa III Radom's coach Dawid Mazur tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the third consecutive win for Gimbasket PRZM. They moved-up to second place in Group B, which they share with AZS UMCS. Rosa III Radom lost their third game in a row. Newly promoted team dropped to the eleventh position with 11 games lost. Gimbasket PRZM will face LKS Lodz (#4) at home in the next round. Rosa III Radom will play against Polonia W-wa (#12) in Warszawa and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
