We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 10th ranked Badajoz BF (4-10) lost to eleventh ranked Aragon (4-10) in Zaragoza 48-61 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Aragon. Badajoz BF was better in third quarter 19-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Aragon forced 22 Badajoz BF turnovers. Ana Hernando orchestrated the victory by scoring 12 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Beatriz Bollullo (181-93) contributed with 7 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Hungarian center Viktoria Vincze (189-87) replied with 19 points and 5 rebounds and Brazilian-Portuguese forward Larisse Lima (185-88) added 13 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Badajoz BF. Badajoz BF's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Aragon moved-up to tenth place in Group A, which they share with RC Celta and Badajoz. Aragon will face Real Celta Vigo (#11) on the road in the next round.
