There was no surprise in Lomma where Lobas (0-1) were defeated by Wetterbygden (2-1) 86-78 on Saturday. Lobas trailed by 11 points after 3 quarters before a 21-18 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 78-86 at the end of the game. They outrebounded Lobas 36-24 including a 28-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Guard Eddie Alm (187-95) scored 28 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Jonathan Peleg (191-94) chipped in 19 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Wetterbygden's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Guard Ted Cedermarker (182-79) responded with 19 points, 5 assists and 5 steals and guard Timmie Andersson (190-97) scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. Four Lobas players scored in double figures. Wetterbygden will have a break next round. Lobas will play on the road against Boras II (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
