Very expected game when 14th ranked ADBA (1-13) lost to seventh ranked Maquinaria Ensino (8-6) in Lugo 57-67 on Saturday. The game without a history. Maquinaria Ensino led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Maquinaria Ensino shot 18 for 25 from the free-throw line, while ADBA only scored one point from the stripe. ADBA was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Guard Tamara Montero (168-94) orchestrated the victory by scoring 14 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Center Marta Lema (186-92) contributed with 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Maquinaria Ensino players scored in double figures. Maquinaria Ensino's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Croatian forward Davorka Balic (188-88) replied with 18 points and 4 steals and point guard Andrea Malanda (164-90) added 13 points and 5 assists in the effort for ADBA. Maquinaria Ensino have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place in Group A, which they share with Arxil Pontev. and C.Adelantados. ADBA lost seventh consecutive game.
