The game in Seu D'urgell was also worth to mention about. Second ranked Conquero (12-4) played at the court of 6th ranked Cadi La Seu (9-7). Conquero managed to secure a 7-point victory 75-68. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Cadi La Seu. The guests were already 18 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 25-14 Cadi La Seu's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 75-68 at the end of the game. Worth to mention a great performance of Nigerian-American forward Adaora Elonu (185-90, college: Texas A&M, agency: Josep and Nicolas) who helped to win the game recording 29 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). American center Talia Caldwell (188-91, college: California) contributed with 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. The former international forward Tamara Abalde (190-89, agency: Josep and Nicolas) replied with 12 points and 9 rebounds and international center Laura Gil (190-92, agency: Regeneracom Sports) added 12 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Cadi La Seu. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Conquero maintains second position with 12-4 record having just three points less than leader Avenida. Cadi La Seu at the other side keeps the sixth place with seven games lost. Conquero will play against Campus Promete (#12) in Logrono in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Cadi La Seu will play on the road against Gernika (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
