Everything went according to plan in Civitanova Marche where tenth ranked Civitanova (6-9) outleveled 12th ranked Ancona (3-12) 73-50 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 73-50. Civitanova forced 26 Ancona turnovers. The best player for the winners was guard Veronica Perini (175-88) who scored 25 points and 9 rebounds. Swingman Marica Gomes (168-78) chipped in 16 points and 5 assists. Four Civitanova players scored in double figures.
