Regular Season Round 15: Ksiezak Lowicz - Stal SW 85-70

2Liga top team - Ksiezak Lowicz (14-1) managed to deliver another win on Sunday. This time they beat eighth ranked Stal SW (6-9) 85-70. Ksiezak Lowicz made 20-of-21 free shots (95.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 22 Stal SW turnovers. It was a good game for Arkadiusz Kobus (196-86, agency: Promotex) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. Forward Maciej Cukierda (195-91) contributed with 19 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Rafal Partyka (184-79) answered with 18 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Dawid Zagula (174-96) added 17 points and 4 assists in the effort for Stal SW. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Stal SW's coach Robert Grzyb rotated ten players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for Ksiezak Lowicz. They maintain first place in Group B with 14-1 record. Newly promoted Stal SW keeps the eighth position with nine games lost. Ksiezak Lowicz will face Tur Bielsk Pdl. (#10) in Bielsk Podlaski in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Stal SW will play at home against Ostrow Mazow. and hope to win that game.
